Kimpton's Vision and Values

Let your light shine ~ learning to care and to lead for today and tomorrow

At Kimpton, Thruxton and Fyfield Church of England Primary School we promote Christian Values which are closely linked to our Learning Values.

We encourage pupils to become successful learners.  Pupils who persevere with their learning and confidently adapt to any new situation they are faced with; pupils who are citizens that contribute to local and global communities by considering and respecting their own beliefs and values as well as those of others, and pupils who are creative thinkers who are challenged and inspired to learn.

We want our pupils to be fulfilled and adaptable in their learning and able to reach and exceed their potential within a school with an excellent standard of teaching, a safe, secure and loving environment, and a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

We have a school where pupils are happy and confident, develop a high self-esteem, enjoy learning, and are self-motivated to fulfil their potential and discover their talents.  A school where children are encouraged to fulfil their potential academically, physically, socially, emotionally, morally and spiritually; to know right from wrong and become aware that they are responsible for their own actions and capable of making well-informed choices about their future.

We work in close partnership with the Church, our parents and our communities, within the spirit of the school’s Christian foundation.
