Special Educational Needs

If your child has a Special Educational Need (SEN) they are ably supported by Mrs Newton, our SENCO, who works closely with all of our class teachers and LSAs to ensure interventions are put in place in and out of the classroom to support your child.

School uses a number of interventions to accelerate the progress of pupils with SEN and each is relevant and tailored to your child's needs. Our LSAs spend time each morning out of the classroom working with SEN pupils, delivering interventions and fulfilling the needs of the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP) which will have been shared with parents and which are reviewed each term. You can read more about what we are able to offer pupils with SEN here in our school's Information Report.

If you have any questions about your child's Special Educational Need please don't hesitate to contact your child's classteacher, or Mrs Newton, through the School Office on 01264 772297.
