Collective Worship

As a Church (aided) school, Collective Worship takes place daily within school either as a whole school worship or in classrooms with the teacher.  This is an important opportunity for quiet and reflective time that brings the whole school together as a Christian community.

Pupils are often asked to reflect on an aspect of each Collective Worship and to consider its meaning in their lives both in and out of school in relation to our Christian Values.  The discussions that happen in the classroom after Collective Worship are often deep as we encourage the development of pupils' spirituality.

Our parish vicar, the Reverend Sandra Williams is a welcome visitor in school and often leads Worship in a thought provoking time of reflection.
